The cliff of Capo Caccia, a sheer drop of 186 meters over a sea animated by the occasionally furious wind, free to hurl itself against the innocent rocks, provides the backdrop to a story that seems tailor-made to make dreams tangible. Evanescent and whimsical kaftans rise up, sails in the wind dancing to the sound of waves and the fury of the air. As if by magic, the creations that walked the runway shatter, hoist, flutter, and sway. Ecru, sand, mother-of-pearl, dust, and lilac, yellow, pink, and sky blue are the colors blended with the sun, the earth, the sea, and the flowers.

It was the summer of 1967 when the film crew of director Joseph Losey landed in the Porto Conte Natural Park in search of an ideal set. The movie BOOM! in Italian, titled "La Scogliera Dei Desideri" featuring Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor, brought Hollywood to Alghero, amidst the wilderness of a dreamlike landscape. From the studios of Los Angeles to the wild scenery.
